This bubble glass chandelier or pendant light was designed by Helena Tynell for Glashutte Limburg. The amber colored handblown glass gives off a warm glow. Helena Tynell is a Finnish glass and ceramics designer. She was a student at the School of the Arts in Helsinki between 1943-1946. She was one of the most influential designers in the Finnish glass company Riihimäki Lasi. Her work was exhibited between 1954 to 1960 (12 editions) at the Triennale in Milan, Zurich, Amsterdam and London. She has worked as a freelance designer for Flygsfors glassworks, BEGA Leuchten, Glashütte Limburg and Fostoria Glass. These pendant lights are in very good vintage condition. The lights each require one single E27 screw fit lightbulb (60 Watt max.)
